Crit Damage

Crit Damage is how much extra damage a critical hit deals. How often you crit comes from Crit Chance.¹ Every player starts with 50% Crit Damage.¹

In melee and bow damage it is its own multiplier, used only on critical hits:²

Damage = (5 + weapon damage) × (1 + Strength ÷ 100) × (1 + Crit Damage ÷ 100)

Example: a weapon with 200 Damage, 300 Strength and 200% Crit Damage: (5 + 200) × 4 × 3 = 2,460 on a critical hit, and (5 + 200) × 4 = 820 on a normal hit. Other multipliers (enchantments, armor abilities, the target's defense) come on top.²
