Ability Damage

Ability Damage raises the damage of item abilities that deal damage (magic damage). Every player starts with 0.¹ It is its own multiplier in the ability damage formula, next to Intelligence:²

Ability damage = base ability damage × (1 + Intelligence ÷ 100 × ability scaling) × (1 + Ability Damage ÷ 100)

Example: an ability that would deal 50,000 with your Intelligence, and 30 Ability Damage: 50,000 × 1.3 = 65,000.

The Enchanting Skill gives +0.5 per level, +30 at level 60.³ The tables below list every other source.⁴
