Attack Speed

Attack Speed lets you hit mobs more often. After a hit, a mob can't be hit again for a short time; Attack Speed shortens that time, and the cooldown of shortbows.¹ Every player starts with 0.¹

Ticks between hits = 10 ÷ (1 + Attack Speed ÷ 100), rounded (20 ticks are one second)¹

Attack Speed counts up to 100 (150 with the full Thermodynamic armor set).¹ For melee, 82 already gives the 5-tick result that 100 gives, because of the rounding.¹
